We currently have sufficient regular monthly giving to fund Priscilla’s salary and to cover basic expenses.
Emma’s financial support is independent of Turning Leaves and comes from family and close friends.
Whilst we have sufficient capital to secure the land, and start construction of the school buildings and infrastructure, we will in the future need to raise money to complete the work.
Education for most children in Uganda is not completely free, even in government run schools. We are looking for creative ways parents and guardians can contribute to the running of the model school, but most are subsistence farmers and traders, and so have limited resources. In due course, we will be looking to raise money to support the ongoing costs of the model school.

The main constraint to expanding the work and making a profound impact on children’s lives in Uganda is not ideas or enthusiasm but money. Any request for donations to be allocated to a particular project will be fully respected.
